Dr. Starkman, a leading Neurologist in NYC with an office in Grand Cayman, is the Medical Director and founder of New York Neurology Associates. He is Board Certified in Neurology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Starkman is an Active Member of American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spine Intervention Society, and American Society of Neuroimaging. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University Medical Center, and a Clinical Attending at Beth Israel Medical Center.
Dr. Starkman was trained at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Center and has been practicing Neurology and Pain Medicine since 1996.
He has implemented many new cutting edge approved therapies for various neurological and chronic painful conditions in his practice. Dr. Starkman was one of the pioneers who started to use Botox in chronic pain management, and one of the first doctors in New York who started to use radiofrequency ablation treatment for chronic spine joints pain.
